Welcome
RAD BC is a pilot project dedicated to safety and awareness for youth in British Columbia. The initiative was introduced first to encourage proper helmet use.
The BIG IDEAS:
1. Make helmets cool by allowing youth to design their own helmets in trendy colours and designs.
2. Utilize school and community groups to collaborate art and information technology programs to aid students in their helmet design and creativity.
3. Develop workshops for youth and parents to attend with the goal of creating personalized helmets for a variety of activities.
4. Work with various levels of government to implement safety awareness programs and by-laws from coast to coast.
